To begin with, my name is Loore and I am one of the organizers of an international youth project named “Active Caring!” which is mainly focused on discussing the topics of animal rights and welfare. This project will gather together 37 young people from Estonia, Iceland, Italy, Spain, Romania, Lithuania and Slovenia.
Youth exchange will take place from 22nd of August to 2nd of September in South-Estonia, Valga county. We will organize different activities to discuss the topic, find possible solutions and make young people more aware of the issue of animal rights. We will compare the situation in participating countries and go all together to volunteer in animal shelter. We also will ask people from the streets, what do they think about animal rights and we disseminate the results over Internet. All that we try to do through non-formal education.
This blog will be the best place to look information about the project during the project, now and even after the project has ended. We will have short day overviews every day.
