Day 5!

And here is the fifth day! As everyday it started with shared breakfast. We should say big “Thank you!” to Slovenian group who, while everybody was eating, prepared a workshop for us.

Workshop organized by Slovenians was very interesting and entertaining: we split into teams, got papers with hints telling us were could we find clues to solve the coded text about animal rights. Hints were hidden everywhere – under the dog’s collar, in the island in the middle of the pond, in the tractor, basketball field, high on the trees, in the dog’s house and in all other crazy places. Even we had some clues it was not so easy to encode the text. Though, many of us did that more or less. The workshop was really great because we had to work in teams, had fun running around and scouting. During the second part of the workshop we had to be very focused while encoding the text because it was very easy to fail.

After the lunch those who wanted had a chance to visit the caves in Helme. We had lovely 4 km walk to Helme and 4km back. The weather was great, so we could easily enjoy Estonian nature and nice time together.  Everybody was very happy about the trip and the time spent out of the living place. Those, who did not go to Helme, had a chance to rest and do something for themselves.

From Helme we came back a bit later than expected, so the workshop organized by Italians started in the late afternoon. Italian group gave us many different questions about wild animals and some answers to them. All the answers were right, so we could choose one of them and then justify the choice. It was a great opportunity to debate on many sensitive issues about wild animals and their situation in our countries.

As a dessert for the day was a movie night. Estonians showed few short documentary films about horrible pigs’ situation in Estonia and EU in general. Italians cheered us up with funny videos about animals after which Romanians ad Lithuanians shared some more serious films.

Impressions of the day were shared by Elen, Stefano and Eglė
